The Library's Department of Local History and Documents will host a literary exhibition "Kazys Inčiūra: Stage Man and Writer" from October 1 to November 12, dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the writer, poet, playwright, actor, and translator Kazys Inčiūra.

Former Mayor of Anykščiai Saulius Nefas published a book about the Taujėnai Church

The library's local history book collection was supplemented by the book "Taujėnai Holy Cross Exaltation Roman Catholic Church" published in 2026 by Saulius Nefas, former mayor of Anykščiai district, history teacher and professor at Mykolas Romeris University.
