From October 24 to 31, all Lithuanian libraries are celebrating MIRKT (Media and Information Literacy) Week. Joining in, Anykščiai L. and S. Didžiuliai Public Library implemented activities aimed at developing critical thinking competencies in the Anykščiai community and invited people to participate in initiatives that will help them more easily recognize disinformation, fraud, and manipulation.
On October 29, to celebrate MIRKT week, we invited Anykštėnai to go on an adventure in Patikrėnai - the library turned into a fun town and invited the community to develop critical thinking competencies by completing fun tasks.
After collecting their passports at customs, the participants traveled around the library, collected stamps for completed tasks, and received a reward after collecting all the stamps - after all, it's not so easy to escape from the alley of scammers or not give in to the temptations of gossip square... 🙂
