On October 20, the training-workshop "Basics of Audio Storytelling" by the responsible media organization NARA took place at the Anykščiai L. and S. Didžiuliai Public Library, led by lecturers Kata Bitowt and Martyna Šulskutė.
During the training, participants delved into the process of creating audio stories - from careful listening and recording to its processing and editing. The lecturers introduced different audio recording techniques, equipment used, and tools that help create podcasts and other audio stories.
In the practical part of the session, participants performed listening exercises, tested audio recording equipment, and later became familiar with the audio processing program "Reaper", learning how to edit multi-voice recordings and combine them with music.
The knowledge and practical skills acquired will be useful to participants in creating audio stories, recording conversations, and finding new ways to convey stories in an interesting and compelling way.
