A 16th-century oven – the oldest object in Anykščiai – is on display in the basement of the Anykščiai L. and S. Didžiuliai Public Library. The oven, built of clay and stones and weighing about six tons, can be seen by library visitors from the first floor of the library, through a special glass floor.
