The UNCOMFORTABLE CINEMA festival, which has been showing films in libraries for several years, is taking another step this year towards greater accessibility to film culture. The opening session of the anniversary festival, which will take place on October 5, 2026, will be open to all library visitors in Lithuania: viewers gathered in libraries participating in the initiative will connect to the festive broadcast of the festival's opening, participate in a virtual game and watch the festival's opening film. During the festive evening, we will also talk about the impact of the festival and documentary film, recall stories from the festival's history and review what awaits us in the program this year.

The event starts at 6:00 PM.
Broadcast starts at 6:30 p.m.

We look forward to your arrival!
